Junior Tennis Journal is a web application designed to help junior tennis players track their progress, record match and training data, and receive AI-powered coaching insights. The Service includes:

  • Pre-match and post-match journal entries
  • Fitness and training session tracking
  • Performance analytics and statistics
  • AI coaching assistant
  • Collaboration features for coaches and parents

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update your information to keep it accurate and current.

3.2 Age Requirements

Users under 16 years of age must obtain parental consent before creating an account. Parents or guardians are responsible for monitoring their child's use of the Service.

3.4 Invitation-Only Access

During the beta period, access to the Service requires a valid invitation code. Invitation codes are non-transferable and for personal use only.

  • Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
  • Violate any applicable data protection or privacy laws

5. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you create in the Service (journal entries, comments, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service.

5.2 Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, functionality, and underlying technology, is owned by Junior Tennis Journal and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

5.3 AI-Generated Content

AI coaching recommendations and insights are provided for informational purposes only. You acknowledge that AI-generated content may not always be accurate and should not replace professional coaching advice.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Sharing and Collaboration

The Service allows you to share journal entries with coaches and parents. You control who can access your content through permission settings. You are responsible for managing these permissions and understanding who can view your data.

8. Subscription and Payments

During the beta period, the Service is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce subscription fees in the future, with advance notice to users.

9. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable and uninterrupted access to the Service, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. We may suspend or terminate the Service for maintenance, updates, or other reasons without liability.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted. AI coaching recommendations are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional coaching advice.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR €100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Junior Tennis Journal, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
